Delivering new homes and community facilities in Ringmer

Welcome

Thank you for visiting our project website regarding the proposed delivery of new homes and community facilities in Ringmer, East Sussex.

Following our initial, valuable consultation regarding community facilities needed in Ringmer earlier this year, we are now ready to share our wider vision for the site and would welcome feedback from residents and other local stakeholders.

Our plans represent an opportunity to not only deliver up to 100 new homes, 40% of which will be affordable, but could also provide the opportunity to enhance the existing communal facilities and provide entirely new ones for the whole community, alongside public open space, which will be gifted to the Ringmer Sport & Recreation Trust to manage in perpetuity.

Ringmer Sport and Recreation Trust commented “Ringmer Sports and Recreational Trust are delighted to be working in partnership with Croudace Homes and the local landowner to deliver first class sports and recreational facilities for our Village. If Croudace Homes are successful with their planning application then they are committed to working with us to ensure Ringmer benefits from significant investment in much needed new sporting facilities that will be held in trust for the benefit of Ringmer. For far too long now developers have ignored the needs of Ringmer and simply built what they wanted to build without any real consultation with local groups. This time it is so refreshing to be listened to and to have a good relationship with Croudace”.

This website hosts Croudace’s virtual exhibition, which will run between 20 October – 3 November 2021 to provide you with an opportunity to view the draft plans for the site and give your feedback on the proposals prior to the submission of an Outline planning application to Lewes District Council.

We are committed to community engagement and will be consulting on the wider masterplan for the site to enable local residents to have their say. Please take a moment to view our plans through the virtual consultation page and provide your feedback by Wednesday 3rd November 2021.
